Mes quatre premiers jours

So I've been in Belgium 3 days and I my research about this city feels pointless. My first day here my jaw was sore from all the houses and statues that I was seeing all over. I've been to Europe before but it has been so long and I forgot how incredible every litte thing here is. My first day consisted of orientation and moving into my apartment and then... a nap. I woke myself up and I forced myself to take the bus and meet some people in my program 30 minutes away for dinner. I had pasta which tasted delicious seeing as though I hadn't eaten anything in 24 hours and then I hopped back on the bus only to get kicked off again in the middle of nowhere by the bus driver. I freaked out and was so confused on where I was because there are NO MOUNTAINS to help my know where the hell north or south is. Google maps was telling me it would take 3 hours to get home and no taxi's near by. I called my mom in tears. I truly felt like I was going to somehow die out there in the Bel...

My Curology Journey

Image
I have always struggled with acne and I've thrown so much money into different programs and treatments like microneedling. I've always been so insecure about my skin and I have had to cover all my blemishes up with makeup which only makes it worst. I am done trying to hide it and I'm instead trying to find a solution so that I can feel confident in my own skin.  After seeing reviews and doing some research, I have started my journey with  Curology which is a 3 step process with a cleanser, a superbottle, and a moisturizer. What makes Curology so different is that when I signed up, I filled out a little quiz about my skin and then sent in some photos of my bare skin to Ann (my personal Curology dermotologist). She looked at everything and prescribed me by own personal Superbottle. My routine is simple, at night, I cleanse my skin and then apply the Superbottle and finish with my moisturizer. In the morning I just cleanse and moisturize. I have only been using it for a few d...

Umm Marriage? I'm Only 20!!

So as you know, I'm a student at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. If you don't know ANYTHING about Utah, one of the most important things to understand is that Utahns (and some of Idaho) think the world revolves around you being married. I have been in school here for 2 years and in that time I have had 0 committed relationships, I am 20 years old, and I have so many plans like study abroad and internships and yet I still feel like I am doing nothing with my life because I'm SINGLE!  Let's talk about my night tonight. I worked a long shift, was planning some amazing weekends that I'll have while spending my whole summer studying abroad in Brussels, Belgium, and also went on Instagram to see 2 engagements and 3 posts that a few ex's had posted about the "love of their life". They are not more than 20 years old and 2 of them are already engaged after only dated 2-4 months. WTH??? How can, in 2-4 months, decide you want to spend the rest of your lif...

About Me

My name is McKell Morrison, I'm a sophomore at Utah State University in Logan, Utah studying Communication Studies with a minor in Marketing. I came to college in 2017 with no idea what college was really about and what real college girls do.  I'm a real 20 year old college girl. I'm in a sorority. I work part-time. And I still have (a little) time to sleep. This is my story.
